Decent Stay, Some Issues Noted
roadworks noise bed discomfort
The room felt quite cramped and poorly arranged. The bed was not comfortable. I also found the roadworks nearby quite noisy and hard to navigate. It was a bit of a letdown overall. The flooding wasn't so good either

easy check-in helpful staff
i found the check-in process very easy on arrival. the room was very clean and well-kept. breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection of cereals and cooked options. the staff was very nice and helpful .
i received some inaccurate information regarding dinner options. also, large-scale roadworks nearby were quite noisy and confusing.

the location provides a beautiful view of the surrounding meadows and pastures. a parking area nearby made it simple to walk my dog. the location is convenient for country lane walks.

super clean room ample parking lovely staff poor welcome basic breakfast limited choice
the room was super clean. plenty of parking was available. check-in was easy, and i found the staff lovely.
i wasn't welcomed on arrival. i wasn't shown to my room, just told the room number. the cooked breakfast was okay (nothing special), but the cereal choice was limited.

The breakfast was a treat, cooked just nicely. i like the dog-friendly policy. It let us bring our furry friend along.
We were not shown up to our room or welcomed properly on arrival. the room was also very warm. A small cooler fan could not keep it cool.
